Meet your 2026-2027 Idaho DECA State Officer team! The Team is here to support you and your chapter's Idaho DECA journey. They are dedicated to helping you grow and develop as a student through volunteering, events, and competitions throughout the year.


President
Ava Young
Ava Young goes to Boise High School where she joined DECA in sophomore year. She served as her school's Chapter President where she loved helping members grow into leaders and competitors. Outside of DECA, Ava is an accomplished violist with Boise Philharmonic Youth Orchestra, and she coaches gymnastics! Ava loves all things pink and will constantly advocate for pink DECA apparel. Ava loves to seek out new opportunities for growth and is excited to serve all Idaho DECA members.

Vice President of Leadership
Alysha Price
Alysha Price attends Coeur d'Alene High School, where she is actively involved in clubs and rigorous academics. She is involved in her school's SBEs, where she has found her love for DECA and competition. Alysha hopes to pursue a career in medicine and become a doctor. In her free time, Alysha works at her part-time job. She also enjoys reading, being outdoors, meeting new people, and seeking opportunities to expand her perspective and build lasting connections. She is super excited to serve Idaho DECA and work alongside her amazing team!

Vice President of Hospitality
Teddy Winkler
Teddy Winkler is a student at Boise High School and is excited to serve as Idaho DECA’s Vice President of Hospitality. He is a second-year member of Idaho DECA. Teddy attended the DECA Ignite Leadership Conference at ICDC, inspiring him to pursue chapter leadership. Outside of DECA, he is involved in Boy Scouts of America, where he served as Senior Patrol Leader and enjoys backpacking in the Sawtooths. Teddy is passionate about connecting chapters while creating a space where every member feels supported and excited to be involved!

Vice President of Career Development
Kylie Henna
Kylie is a student at Twin Falls High School who joined DECA her sophomore year and now serves as her chapter’s president. She loves the competition, career skills, and networking DECA provides. Outside of DECA, Kylie is a proud member of the Speech and Debate Team, Varsity Soccer Team Captain, and student council ASB School Marketer. In her free time, she enjoys yoga, being adventurous, and spending time with the people closest to her. She also works two part time jobs, one at Ulta Beauty and another at a local law firm. Kylie is extremely excited for what this year has to bring and hopes to help DECA members take steps toward fulfilling their career goals!
